Mara plays Luxembourg this week. She has a qualifer in first round and Ana Ivanovic or Venus Williams in second !
I hope she will play on thursday because I'll be there !

Creating a topic dedicated to Mara was obligatory on this site. I have to say that she is really a great person and that she would deserve that journalists talk more about her. She is not famous enough

I forgot to say that when I had the chance to talk to Mary last week, I talked about the Italian team. When I told her that I thought Mara would play instead of Flavia, she told me directly "I like her. She's calm, quiet, clever. I like her". So somebody that Mary appreciates deserves a special attention! And I'm so happy that Mary was so right. She is a great girl.

Mara lost to Radwanska in Luxembourg (1st round)in three sets. She had three matchballs in the 2nd set, but lost it in the end!

Mara lost yesterday against Safina in the tie break of third set !
She had 3 match points
Mara has really a prob with tie breaks

Such a sad loss! It would have been good for her confidence, but this match shows that she is not far from the top 20

In Moscow Mara will face to a qualifyer in 1st round . Let's hope she'll be luckier than her 2 last tournaments.

all simply because after their victory over Spain, there was a battle of water and champagne into the locker room and outside so this why you can see Mara with top swimsuit.

She has problems to finish matches

But she won her double match with Shahar Peer easily !

Tough period for Mara. Hopefully she'll not lose her confidence.  A big schedule is waiting for her as she plays indeed Zurich, Linz and Hasselt
